DINA AMIN

FILM Biography

Dina Amin is a Palestinian filmmaker born in Jerusalem, Palestine. Graduated from Kingston University, London with a BA in Filmmaking. She is the co-founder and managing creative director of Space Collective & Scenez Production House.

After graduating she took a six-month internship in Trento, Italy at “Aurora Vision” Film Production Company.

Dina has co-directed and co-produced one of her short films that have been screened and nominated in various international short film festivals, ‘Rise Up’, (2017). Her most recent film, ‘Vine Leaves’ (2019), produced by the NGO Shashat, screened at five international film festivals.

She has a wide network with the local film industry in Ramallah having experience as a director with different companies such as the PBC (National Tv), FilmLab Palestine, Image Productions, Mashahed Productions, Manshour Productions, Shashat Organisation, and Ma’an TV.

VOCALIST Biography

Dinamiin is a 25 year old Palestinian vocalist, performer, and songwriter. Dinamiin has worked with a Palestinian music producer, Samrasounds to launch her first single, “Jowa El-Kon”, in July 2021.

Dinamiin started singing in 2018 after she got a certificate in Italy from a four month singing course. She was also featured on a track with another Palestinian music producer and rapper, Dodongull with their track, “Bahra” in 2020.

Dinamiin directed, co-produced, and performed in her own Music Video, “Jowa El-Kon”, that was released in November 2021.

An internship assisting a Palestinian film director in producing films and reports. The internship required me to take part in every project to enhance my producing and directing skills as a filmmaker.

I was in direct contact with the director. Managed to keep actors pleased and the shoot organized. I was in charge of the clapperboard during the shoot. I made sure there was good communication between the whole crew.
