Clothes function as a cover that form a second layer of skin; the other nature that each of us carries inside. The story behind the project demonstrates these colors as a source of happiness and satisfaction that ends with a knitted piece acting as a new skin for personality and internal thoughts.

Vine Leaves is the personal story of the filmmaker’s Syrian grandmother who moved to Jerusalem after getting married to her Palestinian husband in the 1960’s. 

The film portrays her story of how and why she came to Jerusalem, tracing how leaving her birth city and family in Damascus to go to a city where she became a stranger impacted her life. And the question remains, will she ever go back to Syria?

“Gloom and Darkness”, is a Rap Music Video that portrays the lives of the poor and less fortunate in Palestine. The powerful words are almost contradicting the image created. The words illustrate the bitter reality Palestinians live under the Israeli occupation by referring to life as ‘gloomy’ and ‘dark’. “There is nothing left but gloom and darkness”.

Rise Up is a 10 minute documentary following three young Palestinian artists based in the West Bank - a theatre director, a filmmaker and a DJ. This short film explores what it means to be an artist in Palestine, in relation to both the Arab culture and the restrictions imposed by the military occupation. Why is art such a powerful tool, and how are these different art forms used as a positive tool for change?

'Viva Kino' is a documentary film that has been screened in Hollywood and Arizona. The film portrays the path that Padre Kino has created for his believers. It also presents the wall of Mexico and how it affects the population.

The short observational documentary is a demonstration of the street children living under the harsh poor conditions in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We follow the children into their daily routine of surviving whether it was singing, dancing, begging; all they want is to enjoy their childhood. The film reflects children around the world; such as refugee children living in Syria.

The observational short documentary film demonstrates a rehearsal of ballroom dancing. The film portrays the beauty of such a simple dance whilst demonstrating the dancers from their feet and up to their heads. 

PRODUCING

The film is a remembrance of the martyrs, the italian Priests in Ethiopia. Their story is demonstrated through the current  Italian priests that live among the christian community in a small village of Ehtiopia.

A deconstruction of what it’s really like to deal with anxiety. The short exprimental film is a representation of an eating anxiety. It reflects on an important issue the society seems to ignore. 'Tragar', means 'to swallow'.
